Vision

Our vision is to become the leading authority for substance misuse prevention, education, awareness, and advocacy so all Georgia youth can live substance misuse free lives.

  • Why Prevention?

  • More than 2.5 million middle and high school students currently use E-cigarettes. (National Youth Tobacco Survey, 2022)

  • According to the 2021 National Survey on Drug Use and Health, 21.5% of people in the United States ages 12 and older reported binge drinking in the past month. (NIAAA, 2023)

  • Over 150 people die every day from overdoses related to synthetic opioids like fentanyl. (CDC,2023)

  • According to the 2022 Monitoring The Future (MTF) Panel Study, Marijuana use has reached historic highs among young adults ages 19-30 years old. (National Institute of Health, 2023)
