Hi everyone! My name is Chelsea Williams, and I am GPP’s Fall 2021 intern. I am currently a senior at Kennesaw State University and am majoring in Public Health Education. I will be graduating this December 2021, and I am so excited!
A little bit about me is that I love volunteering and giving back to the community. Being able to bless others is important to me and something I strive to do daily. I also enjoy hiking and trying new things as well as spending time with my family, friends, and my sorority sisters.
I am interested in public health because it focuses on promoting and protecting the health of all people. One aspiration I have is to always help others in some type of way; therefore, by studying public health, I am able to help others daily by preventing issues from occurring or reoccurring.
I am very excited to be interning at GPP because it will teach me more about program planning and implementation as well as allow me to be involved within the community. I am interested in learning more about substance misuse among adolescents and discovering more ways to decrease the risks and dangers associated with drugs among this population. I can’t wait to increase my knowledge within the public health field by interning at GPP!
We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish Chelsea!Back to Blog
