Our Programs

  • TAC

The Teen Action Council (TAC) is a network of youth coalitions which provides education and awareness about substance misuse and mental health, while encouraging youth to use healthy alternatives. TAC uses peer-to-peer education and fosters leadership, teamwork, event planning, and outreach experiences for youth in Georgia.

  • CPP

College Prevention Partnership (CPP) is our initiative to address the non-medical use of prescription drugs across college campuses in Georgia. We currently have 15 groups of dedicated and inspiring students at universities across Georgia who are bringing creative programming and education campaigns to their campuses to reduce drug misuse, provide healthy alternatives to substance use, and promote positive social norms on their campus.

  • SET

Our Substance Education Training Program provides FREE educational resources to help teachers and youth-serving organizations educate on the impact of misusing different substances such as alcohol, marijuana, vaping, and so much more. All of our material currently aligns with Georgia's health education standards for the 2022-2023 calendar year and can be adapted for in-person and virtual experiences.

  • PIPP

Partners In Prevention Project (PIPP) was created by the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (GDBHDD) as a substance abuse prevention initiative for the state of Georgia. The PIPP program is a new program in Taliaferro County with a goal of reducing early onset use of alcohol and binge drinking among youth ages nine to twenty years old.

  • DFC

GPP is a Drug Free Communities grantee in partnership with Polk Prevention and Recovery Alliance (PPRA). PPRA is a coalition that works together to reduce the use of drugs, tobacco, and underage drinking among youth in Polk County and supports persons in recovery to become self-sufficient to ensure a safer community.

  • SARA

Launched in January 2016, SARA’s participants include researchers, practitioners and public health advocates with a wide spectrum of experience in substance use disorder (SUD) work. SARA’s latest project includes a “White Paper,” entitled Recommendations for Effective Use of Georgia Opioid Settlement Resources. Click Here for SARA's 2022 White Paper.
