National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week

National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week is a national observance designed to promote the science behind substance use. This observational week originally began in 2010 as an opportunity to boost educational events for teens and community members to not only learn more about the impact of substance use, but to discover the science behind addiction as well. Every year it is hosted by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) who partners with scientists, leading organizations, and media outlets to spread awareness. Keep reading to learn how you can support the National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week, March 18th-24th, and get involved.
